National Forum Seminar Series - Schedule Published

The schedule of 62 seminars funded by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning has now been published on its website at http://teachingandlearning.ie/seminar-series

The February Bulletin from the National Forum has also been published online, including the announcement of the Forum's Patron, Prof. Mary McAleese, the launch of the Teaching Heroes awards, and updates on both the National Seminar Series and Insights papers.

New NAIRTL Publication - Threshold Concepts: From personal practice to communities of practice

A new NAIRTL publication encourages teachers in Higher Education to focus on building students’ understanding of key concepts rather than teaching an ever expanding list of topics.

Featuring international pedagogical experts in the area of Higher Education, Threshold Concepts: from personal practice to communities of practice, brings together key insights from a recent NAIRTL conference on the topic of Threshold Concepts.
