As a follow up from the EDIN Curriculum Design workshop, it would be interesting to hear from you as to what curriculum design initiative you are being drawn into as educational developers in response to the current economic crisis. For example, the development of research-teaching linkages, development of innovation (whatever this may mean in different contexts!!), more business electives, development of access-modules/programme...etc....
Any interesting developments happening out there?

In the Institute of Technology sector the Labour Market Activation scheme over the summer required us to get courses up and running for the unemployed. Most Institutes seem to have adapted existing courses or set aside places on existing courses for this purpose. I don't know if educational developers were involved at all in these developments.
